Our Story

My entrepreneurial journey began during my first year in college, when I worked as a process server. Much of the job was like a stakeout—hours spent sitting in my car, waiting for the right moment to serve legal documents. More times than I can count, I found myself stranded with a dead car battery after running my laptop for long stretches, plugged into the cigarette lighter while I waited. That frustration—being stuck with no power and no way to work—planted the seed for what would later become The Solar Shield.

Years later, another personal experience shaped the second product that defines EDC BDC LLC. In my younger days, I was catfished multiple times—tricked by people online who weren’t who they claimed to be. It wasn’t just embarrassing; it was emotionally exhausting and costly. I remember thinking, someone should build a tool to stop this from happening to others. That thought never left me.

When I launched EDC BDC LLC, I committed to creating products that solve real‑world problems I understood firsthand. The Solar Shield solves the power problem I knew too well—delivering portable, renewable energy while keeping cars cooler. The CatfishHunter solves the safety problem I wished I had protection from—using AI to unmask fake accounts and protect people’s identities. Both products are born from lived experience, designed not just to work, but to make life easier, safer and more empowering for the people who use them.
